Belfiore 2 holiday rental apartment in Florence: this cozy apartment has been recently restored in old Florentine style with wooden beamed ceilings and cotto floors. It is on the 2nd floor, ideally located a few meters from the Santa Maria Novella train station and from the historical center, it is perfect starting point also for trips around Tuscany.

The apartment is composed by an entrance that opens into a large livingroom with dining table and kitchenette and one double sofa bed, a small storage area with washing machine, a large bathroom with shower, a very cosy and well furnished double bedroom. In both the rooms the windows overlook the internal part of the building and so it is very quite.
The Santa Maria Novella neighbourhood is very good for being close to the historical center, to the Lungarni that can be easily reached by foot, to Tornabuoni street, famous for its luxury trade shops, to the Fortezza da Basso ( the main congress and exhibition center of Florence) and to Mercato Centrale di San Lorenzo where you will be able to find fresh food and vegetables. In the area there are also many workshops and hops as well as many trattorie where you could taste traditional dishes.

How to get here:
close to the apartment there is: the bus station (Lazzi,Sita and Cap); the Tramvia and the city bus lines.
From Station Santa Maria Novella: The apartment is in Florence in Via della Scala at 3 minutes walking distance from Piazza Santa Maria Novella and from the Railways Station.
By Plane: If you landed in Florence Airport, connections to the city center: The "Vola in Bus" shuttles depart from the airport - arrivals side - every half hour (from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. for the S.M. Novella Railroad Station; and for the SITA coach terminal at Via S. Caterina da Siena (from 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.). The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Tickets can be purchased on board the bus, at the SITA coach terminal or from the ATAF Terminal information kiosk in Piazza Stazione.
If you landed in Pisa Airport, there is a train every hours, the length of journey is about 1,15 hour. By car: Along the road are present some counters of the main car rental companies and on the side streets are some private garages where to leave your car.
