Via Pietrapiana is a no traffic street in the heart of the historical districts of Santa Croce and Sant'Ambrogio, definitely two of the coolest areas of the city where you could find Bars, Pubs, Pizzerie, the best restaurants, the best cafeterias (two of the best in Italy, Cibreo and Piansa!) and moreover it is very close (5/10 minutes by walk) to all the main city museums, monuments and churches of Florence..
