Lovely and carefully furnished apartment located 5 minutes walk to Duomo and 1 minute to the Train Station. 45 sqm. 2nd floor without elevator. 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, living room with sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen. Bright. Recently restored. Air cond, TV sat, washing machine, Internet.
The apartment is suitable for 2/4 people.The apartment is at 2nd floor without elevator and is made of: entrance/living room with dining table for 4 people, comfortable sofa bed for 2 people (bed size: 140 x 190 cm), fully equipped kitchen (electric oven standard size, stove with 4 gas burners, fridge and freezer), 1 bathroom with shower, one double bedroom (bed size 160 x 200 cm).
It has been recently restored, decorated and carefully furnished on February 2009.
The apartment is located in the district of Santa Maria Novella, this beautiful church is only 300 mt far.
The Duomo is less then 5 minutes walk and the river only 1 minute walk, as well as the Train Station and the main Bus Stations, so it is very easy to make daily excursions to the main sites of Tuscany and Italy.
The building is a typical "palazzo" of the historic center of Florence, dates back to the XVII century, and was the last home of the blessed Hippolytus Galantinius who died on 14th April 1619, as reminds us a marble bust on the facade (HIS AB AEDIBUS B. HIPPOLYTUS GALANTINIUS AD CELESTIUM SEDES EVOLAVIT XIII CAL APRILES A. M. DC XIX).
It is at second floor without elevator (44 steps).
All the rooms are air conditioned and bright.
The aparment is provided of: iron and ironing board, hair dryer, toaster, cooking utensils, Tv sat (Italian channels + BBC world), wireless internet connection, washing machine.
The owners are from Florence and live close by the apartment. They are always on hand to offer any advice or to make any suggestions on any aspect of your holiday.

Car parking is available nearby the apartment (20 mt only) in pay garages.

we stayed in this wonderful, comfy, well located apartment. it was very close to the bus and train station and close to the Domo and all other important sites. We walked everywhere to see the sites.
