This is one of the best apartments for students that we manage in Florence. Letizia, the owner, is a very nice lady that we personally know, she is kind, accommodating and professional. The house has several colourful rooms all recently restored. Very nice shared kitchen and wi fi connection. The apartment is well served with the city center, anyway you can reach the city center by walk in 15/20 minutes or by bike in 10 minutes. You can reach the center following the nearby Gioberti street, the so called "centovetrine road" (100 shopwindows) because you can find there any kind of shop, restaurants, bars, supermarkets. Letizia's Iris Home is your high quality student and tourist Room in Florence! Located nearby Piazza Alberti, 10 minutes away (by bus n° 6 and n° 14) from central Piazza del Duomo (Duomo Square).
Very close to the apartment (3 minutes by walk) there you'll find Via Gioberti one of the most important shopping streets of Florence with markets, supermarkets, bookshops, news stands, bars, restaurants, pizzerias...
There are available 2 single bedrooms and 2 double bedrooms (with two single beds each). These rooms can be rent for short periods (less than 1 week) or for periods longer than 4 weeks!
This is definitely one of the best accommodations for your student stay in Florence. It's comfortable, located close to the city center and very affordable! Moreover The apartment has been recently (very well) restructured, it's located at the second floor and it's very bright and full furnished.

I spent three weeks in this appartment, last summer. The appartment was beautiful, very clean and cosy. The housemates were nice and Leatitia is very sweet and willing to help with everything you need. It took some getting used to Leatitia coming in to check the room each day. On the other hand it was nice that she changed sheets and emptied the bin. If you are not to keen on privacy but do need a clean and tighty room. You should deffinitly book a room!

I stayed for one month in this appartment and I liked it very much. It is very big an I had a beautiful room. But I would also like to inform probable visitors that it is very, very loud in all rooms, because there are so many trains and cars near to the house. It further takes you 30 minutes to walk to the town centre, but only a few to go there by bus. Letizia was very nice and helpful, but you have to consider that she comes every day and enters all rooms to clean and to look, if everything is allright. She controlls everything in the flat, even your food. You have to know that and if you are ok with it, you will have a very nice stay there.

I was fortunate to spend seven months at Letizia's while conducting research in Florence. The apartment is quite spacious and in fantastic shape. It is located in a pleasant quarter of the city, with many shops and restaurants nearby, and is only a twenty minute walk (or an even shorter bus ride) to the historical quarter. Letizia is available almost daily and is always helpful and friendly. If I return to Florence for another visit, I would gladly stay here again.

Ho vissuto due mesi nella "Casa di Letizia". Ci sono stata molto bene. L'appartamento è caloroso e la decorazione ci da davvero l'impression di essere a casa nostra! Letizia è molto gentile e disponibile. Inoltre, è vicino del centro e della Via Gioberti, dove ci sono tanti negozi.
E un ottimo posto per soggiornare a Firenze.

I knew it would be wonderful to live in Florence but never thought I'd find all these... thanks to Letizia: a group of wonderful persons, the opportunity to be part of the community and understand local culture through bonds of unconditionally friendship. The house is beautiful, has all the comforts and Letizia ensures that nothing has happened to missing ... I spent 4 months in this beautiful home and I and definitely would return!
