Very nice apartment located very close to the city center in a nice, safe, residential area. The flat is located nearby Piazza Alberti, 10 minutes away (by bus n° 6 and n° 14) from central Piazza del Duomo (Duomo Square).

Very close to the apartment (3 minutes by walk) there you'll find Via Gioberti one of the most important shopping streets of Florence with markets, supermarkets, bookshops, news stands, bars, restaurants, pizzerias...

In the flat there is 1 single bedroom and 1 double bedroom.
These rooms can be rent for short periods (less than 1 week) or for periods longer than 4 weeks!

This is definitely one of the best accommodations for your student or tourist stay in Florence. It's comfortable, located close to the city center and very affordable! Moreover The apartment has been recently (very well) restructured, it's located at the second floor and it's very bright, silent and full furnished.

Where do we start? First, wow! It was breath taking. I knew once we entered the Violet apartment our stay in Florence would be a wonderful one. What a lovely surprise after 22 hours of flight from the other end of the world to arrive in this beautiful apartment! All the anxiety of having booked a long rental on the Internet without knowing the place, just flew away as we opened the door and were welcomed by Letizia, an extraordinary fiery slip of a woman and her beautiful snow ball Piumino. She has definitely made our stay a smooth and pleasant one. We came to Florence for work purposes so getting a nice spacious and functional apartment was really important. The apartment is really exquisite, decorated with taste and very colourful, as is Tuscany. It is also very well equipped, functional and modern but most importantly there is a real warm homey feel to it, which was great as we were there for three long months (October – December 2010). The pictures really do little justice to the apartment, as it is even more stunning in reality. Also, the location is great – away but not too far from the beautiful historical centre of Florence (just about 15 minutes walk). With the Campo di Marte train station just around the corner (so you can hop on to Rome or Pisa), a fresh farmers market every morning and via (street) di Gioberti where you can shop for groceries and Italian fashion, dine and experience some of the best Tuscany food (if you know where to go – but Letizia can tell you more about it), it really worked for us. Finally, the apartment is located in a more residential area, which means you get to meet the real Italians! Not just the ones who deal with tourists! That was a great plus for us! Overall, Letizia’s violet apartment was an amazing experience and has surely contributed to making our Tuscan experience a wonderful one. We would recommend this address without any hesitation to family, friends and colleagues – or simply anyone who is looking for a beautiful experience in Florence. Virginie and Alessandro, Australia.

Enjoy the beauty of Florence living here, situated in a very lovely district with shops, markets and supermarkets, bakeries, pizzerie, restaurants, bookshops..etc...Not tourist area!It has been recently restructured, bright, full furnished and accessoried! About everything you need..2nd floor with lift.
