Located in the beautiful and charming district of San Frediano, this comfortable and cosy flat offers a very nice stay up to four people. Three windows overlooking the garden offer the apartment an incredible amount of light.
Hallway
A nice hallway welcomes you as you enter in this well lit and quiet apartment. The living room, fully air-conditioned, is a particularly will lit and quiet area with its three windows, overlooking a nun garden, that provide the apartment with a relaxing natural illumination.
The kitchen
The kitchen corner is equipped with refrigerator, microwave, freezer and American coffee maker, all the cooking tools you would have at home, so making yourself a breakfast or a meal will be absolutely fast and easy.
Bathroom
The bathroom features a bath tub with also a stand up shower. Here we have tried to give you the best of fresh taste and colourful tiling decoration.
Living area
The living area offers also two extra sleeping places in this comfortable and king-size sofa bed. If your idea is to save some money on your vacation, the choice of a 2+2 apartment might be a very convenient way. The sleep will be just as good as in real bed and the money in your wallet will still be enough to spend it on shopping.

UK Terence (2007-10-03 17:22:26) helpful site with good information to assist in choosing an apartment ... worked well ... very helpful in directions and prompt at meeting at apartment. We telephoned on arrival at Firenze, so that there was no delay, Which was very welcome after the journey ... Very quiet even though it was central. it was a pleasure to return to in the evening as it was so relaxing. ... again very helpful ... The peaceful outlook, the small but good local shops and eating places. The closeness to the bus stops for the circular routes which were invaluable in seeing the city ... good web site with good selection of properties ... Good area of the city, quiet but comfortable with all the amenities required, furnished to a high standard and stylish

Canada Darrell (2007-10-03 17:20:24) We arrived 3 hours late and they were very accommodating. We simply phoned them and let them know our revised arrival time and they were there. ... The Via dell'Orto Apartment was exactly as it was presented on-line. The staff were very friendly, helpfull and hospitable. I highly recommend them. The location of the apartment was perfect. It is just outside the heavy tourist area and there are ample shops, bakeries, deli, cafe, mini markets within 1-3 blocks of the location. The prices of the shops around the location are significantly lower than on the tourist side of the river. The sofa bed is even comfortable. ... Great location: 10-15 minute walk to all major locations. Bakeries, Butcher shops, cafe(s), excellent restaurant, Internet access point all within 1-2 blocks. All the shops around the apartment were very friendly and easy to deal with in English, even those who said they only spoke a little English. Supermarket within a 10 minute walk, mini market within a 2 minute walk. Train station within 15 minute walk. Quality bedding. I am sure you have other great locations and operators, but I can not help but think this location and staff should be listed at the top of the Highly Recommended list. ... Absolutely. The guest book is full of very positive experiences of others. I plan on staying there the next time we are in Italy and will travel to all the other locations from Florence. It is truly considered my home away from home in Italy.

devon Uk Lucretia Grindle (2007-09-07 12:23:44) This apartment was a real delight. Having rented several times in Florence before, I can absolutely recommend it. It is very quiet, the view is delightful, and the rooms are large, bright and cheerful. The bathroom is especially excellent, and there are lots on nice touches, like a really well equipped kitchenm hair dryer,plenty of towels and central heating that works like a charm! The book basket was an especially nice touch - much appreciated! The shops in the area are great too. All in all it was delightful. Francesca and Lorenzo could not possibly have been more helpful and did everything to make my stay a success ( including delivering FED EX packages I'd been chasing.) Frankfurt Germany Anna de charisson (2007-09-07 12:18:08) Cara Francesca, We just wanted to say that we enjoyed staying in the flat ORTO 1 and found things in good order. The view is lovely and the flat is comfortable. We really liked the location too! I left both sets of keys on the table, as per your instructions. Sorry we left so many bags of rubbish but the cart was full downstairs! There was only one thing that wasn't so good: the hot water was sometimes limited and the water pressure in the shower wasn't very strong. Maybe it's not very easy to do anything about these problems - we lived in Rome and couldn't ever get the plumbing straight... Grazie e saluti, Anna and Ben
