The Carmine apartment is situated in the center of Florence, in the
historical Piazza del Carmine on the other side of
the Arno river named Oltrarno by the Florentines..

...which, formerly considered a popular district, has more recently
become a fashionable residential area with nice antique shops, artisans,
trendy restaurants etc. 

Any museum or gallery can be reached in a few minutes walk, and a city bus service also connects the  area with all other parts of Florence.

The building where the apartment is situated dates back to the 17th
century: it has a beautiful frescoed facade and a splendid iron gate through which
you can admire the beautiful courtyard...

The apartment consists of three small cute rooms on three levels connected
by a spiral staircase. 

You enter the apartment in the sitting room which is located at the ground floor,  furnished with a sofa that can be easily transformed into a comfortable double bed. 

From the sitting room you step  up to the double bed in the gallery, from where you can admire the beautiful oak ceiling. 

From the sitting room you  will also step down to the kitchen and to the bathroom with shower.  Though it is situated in the basement, the  kitchen has a window and is very nicely furnished. 

You will love eating on the antique table and you will enjoy the atmosphere of the arched ceiling and  the antique stones on the wall.
