This elegant and comfortable apartment is located very close (100 mt.) to Piazza S. Croce and 3 minutes walking from the Duomo. It's in a narrow road, called "via della Rosa"....
...in the ancient neighbourhood of S. Croce close to Piazza dei Ciompi where is the "Flea Market".
The apartment (50 square meters, perfect for 2/4 people) is located on the second floor (no elevator) of a popular historic building of XVI century and has been completely restored in December 2002 in a typical florentine style, with florentine cotto floors and wooden beamed ceiling.
Some furnitures are antique.
The apartment offers master bedroom with king sized bed, bathroom with shower, living room with dining table and pull out sofa bed for 2 people, kitchen corner well furnished with dishwasher, refrigeretor and freezer, stove with 4 burns, microwave oven with grill (or electric oven on demand), washing machine, toaster, etc.
It's completely supplied with bed linen and towels.
Moreover, the apartment offers heating/air conditioning, TV sat, CD and DVD players with a little CD/video library, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, linens, and towels, fast internet connection (ADSL) with PC, telephone, steel-clad door and safe.

I spent a nice w/end in this apartment..really nice and close to Santa Croce where we had a great evening eating sandwich (and drinking beer!) at the German Christmas Market...we have really appreciated the fruit Francesco left for us before our arrival...
