The Santino house is right behind the Uffizi Gallery and Piazza Signoria. It is located in an ancient building, newly renovated with every comfort, except, of course, the lift!
The apart windows overlook the Arno river, the typical red city roofs and the Piazzale Michelangelo hill.2 nice single rooms in a finely, newly renovated apartment placed at the top floor of an ancient city center building. The apartment is located next (50 meters) to the Uffizi Gallery, to the magnificent Piazza della Signoria, to the Duomo Square and to the Arno River.
Any location (museums, monuments, schools, restaurants, pizzerie, restaurants) can be reached in five minutes by walk. If you like jogging you can reach the Michelangelo hill (that you can admire from the kitchen window!) in 10 minutes by running!
If you prefer shopping you can reach in a very short time all the most famous city shopping streets like Via Calzaiuoli, Via Tornabuoni, Via del Corso, Borgo Pinti, Via della Vigna Vecchia...
The guest of the apartment, Santino, is a very cool guy...his "stage-name" is Gulliver and he was (in the seventies) a worldwide famous (and best seller) singer (but he'll tell you the full story!). Definitely you'll like him!
The monthly rent is fair and the accommodation is really worth this money!

I am spanish erasmus student looking for a single room for the corse 2010/2011. I am a girl of 21 years old from madrid studying economics and maybe another girl would come with me but only till December-January. I would arrive on the 10th of September until May (including it). If it is possible, I would prefer to live with italian students to improve my italian. I am interested on this so please contact me.

Great apartment in a great great location very close to Uffizi.
I enjoyed a lot my 5 months stay at Santino's house.
I woud recommend it to all US Student!
..and don't miss one of the Santino Live performance around the city...!;)
